A late 19th Century Dutch Copper and Brass Doofpot (Coal Bucket), hosting a removable handle on riveted brackets with three brass feet. Designed to sit next to a fireplace mantel for storing of coal, kindling or briquettes (Image number 5 as a reference)
Measurements: 40cm high x 25cm wide.
Condition: Excellent. Polished at a later date and verdigris removed. Some light indentation and natural patina throughout body.
