A Birmingham 15ct Yellow Gold Locket, dating to c1899-1900. The locket of rectangular form with rounded edges, hosting a sparkly old single cut natural diamond, opening to reveal two photo locket compartments, suspended on a round pendant bail.
Measurements: 2.5cm x 1.65cm, with a weight of 4.02g
Condition: Professionally cleaned and semi-polished by our jeweller, ensuring the locket retains its original patina and character. Good overall condition with light surface scratches commensurate with general wear. Exhibits some rubbing to the gold on the reverse side. Hallmarks are legible. No chips or fractures to the diamond. Opens and closes smoothly.
