A Chinese Tripod Censer with Display Case, Second Half of the 20th Century. An elaborate wooden censer of bulbous form, finely hand carved and reticulated with phoenix-form handles, the body richly decorated with scenes of the Eight Immortals. Raised on three feet, each terminating in a knop to the underside designed to fit securely within corresponding holes on the red and black lacquered stand. Presented within its original custom black lacquered glass display case, detailed with gilt highlights and raised feet.
Measurements: (Case) 54cm high x 38cm wide x 26cm deep
Condition: Good, no evident damage or restoration to the censer. Light wear around case border. Glass intact.
