Meiji era (1868-1912) A small bronze vase featuring cranes and reeds, made by the Nogawa workshops (Kyoto).
The Nogawa factory and workshops were active in the Meiji era through to the early 20th century. They generally created bronzes to appeal to Western tastes and used many different metal-ware techniques.
Measurements: 13cm high
Condition: Good with no dents. Surface patination commensurate with age.
