Two patinated cast spelter Alsatians or German Shepherds, mounted on a natural light pink Belgian marble base, made in France c1940. They perfectly capture the symbolism of the Art Deco movement... of a time where designers and decorators were fascinated with animal sculptures. This is a large sculpture, very heavy and deserves pride of place in a notable location within your home or collection.
