A mid-20th century oak weather station, elegantly appointed with a suite of instruments comprising a barometer with large central dial, a thermometer with vertical scale above, and a hygrometer with subsidiary dial below, each housed within polished brass bezels and protected by glass. The oak case is finely inlaid with decorative fruitwood and surmounted by a brass finial. The instruments signed HUGER, West Germany, the wooden case likely of Italian or Swiss manufacture.
