A Substantial "Le Cygne" Bowl by Sasaki Crystal Japan, c1970's

A substantial lead crystal bowl or platter in the ‘Le Cygne’ design by Sasaki, featuring an elegantly stylised heron rendered in deep-etched detail. Dating to the late 1970s, Sasaki is noted as some of the finest crystal to come out of Japan and this bowl appears to be a rare find.

Measurements: 30.5cm diameter, with an impressive weight of 2.7kg's

Condition: The bowl presents in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or apparent damage. Please note that in the accompanying photographs, certain areas of the etched wings may appear unetched; this is a temporary visual effect caused by residual moisture following cleaning. The etching is intact, with no apparent damage or irregularities to this masterpiece of glass art.
