A divine example from the renowned Italian glass studio of E. Vianello, c1960. Tre Fuochi, meaning "three fires" in Italian, is a technique of applying 24k gold and enamels to the glass. It is returned to the fire 3 times and involves a painstaking process to perfect evenly. This vase is featured in ruby red glass and in substantial proportions that we don't normally find. The original foil label is surprisingly still intact, which is rarely found and a great asset in helping confirm the authenticity of this Vianello piece.
Measurements: 28cm high x 22cm diameter.
Condition: Great condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. No evident losses to the enamel flowers or gold. Please note that we haven't polished the 24k gold, and therefore it has a softer appearance. We reserve the discretion to the buyer to polish the gold to a high reflective sheen if they wish.
