A superbly crafted sterling silver belt buckle, featuring a pair of rearing horses within a horseshoe border. Cast in solid sterling silver and hand-finished, the buckle was made in Mexico circa 1980s. Accompanied by an embossed black leather belt (removable), which is decorated with Western motifs depicting eagles and mountainous landscapes.
Measurements: The buckle measures 7cm x 6.5cm, with an impressive weight of 88.85 grams. The belt measures 118cm long x 3.7cm wide.
Condition: Excellent with no damage. The leather belt exhibits light signs of use.
Hallmarks: The reverse of the buckle bears an impressed ‘925’ mark, indicating sterling silver, together with a maker’s mark that appears to read ‘NC13’.
