A fine pair of 19th-century cast bronze and metal candle holders, of elegant lyre-stemmed form, enriched with decorative gilt-gold detailing. Likely of French or English manufacture and dating to the second half of the 19th century.
The removable sconces allow for ease of cleaning and maintenance; one is currently somewhat firmly secured and may require careful effort to remove.
Measurements: 24.5cm.
Condition: Surface wear commensurate with age. Patina and verdigris evident, however we have not cleaned them and will leave this up to the new owner if desired.
