A Pauline Delaney 'Tiara' Studio Glass Vase

A handblown cobalt blue glass vase with applied clear crimped glass to the rim, a variation of her 'Tiara' theme. Hand signed to the base.

Measurements: 18cm high

Condition: Excellent - No chips, cracks or restoration.

Biography: Pauline Delaney completed a Bachelor of Arts in ceramics with a major in glass at the Caulfield Institute of Technology (now Monash University, Caulfield) 1978-81, she was a trainee at the Jam Factory in Adelaide 1982-85. An early distinction in Delaney’s career was the acquisition of one of her works by the Corning Museum of Glass in the USA.  The vase was made in Adelaide, towards the end of her time at the Jam Factory, and glorifies in the name of ‘Neurot Tiara’.
