A Crown Devon blue lustre ware vase featuring a finely hand-painted galleon scene to the front, signed D. Cole to the lower right. The reverse decorated with two seagulls in flight. Presented against a striking blue ground, this particular colour and pattern is seldom encountered and represents a desirable example of Crown Devon’s decorative lustre ware.
Measurements: 17.5cm high x 16cm wide.
Condition: No chips, cracks or repairs. Very minor loss of gold trim around the foot as pictured.
