A Victorian 9ct Gold, Turquoise & Seed Pearl Pendant, c1890

A finely balanced Victorian 9ct gold turquoise and seed pearl pendant, the quatrefoil shaped openwork design set with five oval cabochon natural turquoise, centred by a seed pearl arranged in a delicate cross formation. The central section articulated to allow movement, further enhanced by a single suspended turquoise drop to the base. Chain not included.

Age: c1890-1900

Size: 3.5cm x 2cm, with a weight of 1.6 grams.

Condition: In excellent antique condition, with only general age-related wear. No prominent dents or deep scratches. The reverse shows minor patination consistent with handling.

Hallmarks: Unmarked, as typical of the period. XRF tested as 9ct gold.
