A beautifully formed vase in baluster shape, hand decorated in blue oxide using ancient old techniques, dating to the 20th Century. Please note that the vase appears more yellow in our images but in reality is a cooler, whiter tone.
Origin:Chu Dau is an ancient ceramic line and is known as one of the earliest designs of Vietnamese ceramics. It boasts a glorious past, with elaborate products and high trading values. The prominent style featuring hand painted blue decoration on white clay, collected from the city of Chi Linh.
Measurements: 22cm high
Condition:Good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Crazing throughout commensurate with the age and clay used.
