An antique Australian brooch by Larard Brothers, circa 1900. Crafted in 15ct yellow gold and designed as a bird in flight grasping a flowing ribbon, the piece is set throughout with twenty-five seed pearls and highlighted by a pink ruby eye. The reverse retains its original pin, clasp, and safety chain.
Measurements: 3.5cm long, with a total weight of 3.6 grams

Hallmarks: Bears a 'star' stamp for Larard Brothers (Collins Street, Melbourne), along with a '15' gold purity stamp.
