Provenance: Private Collection - sold through Amanda Addams Auctions.

Biography: Heather is an Australian sculptor whose accomplished bronze works have garnered national and international acclaim. Her sculpture 'The Platypus', acquired by Her Majesty The Queen from Maker Marks Gallery, Melbourne, now forms part of the Royal Collection—an achievement of which she is justly proud.

Born in Mt Eliza and educated in Melbourne, Heather trained as a nurse at The Alfred Hospital before turning to the arts. After several years balancing family life with work in healthcare and education, she began exhibiting her own sculpture in 1977. She now works exclusively from her home studio, where the surrounding landscape continues to inform and inspire her practice.
