Dating to around the mid-to-late Edwardian era, this superb 9ct rose gold signet ring features a shield-shaped face flanked by engraved shoulders. Solid in construction, it features the engraved Freemasons symbol of the ‘Square and Compass’, beautifully and finely etched. Don’t like the insignia? You can always have it polished off and engraved with your own design, such as a monogram, initials, or family crest.
Measurements: Finger size S (Australian), with a weight of 5 grams.
Condition:
Excellent overall condition. Professionally cleaned preserving its original patina, the piece shows only very light surface scratches consistent with gentle, age-appropriate wear. No indentations or structural bends.
Hallmarks: W9D, for Dunklings (Melbourne), the number '9' indicating the gold purity.
