A large rectangular tray with canted corners, enclosed by a pierced brass gallery and fitted with twin side handles. The surface is exquisitely hand-inlaid in burl walnut, mahogany, and coloured satinwood, forming a highly ornate composition. Would suit as a serving tray, drinks tray or decorative table tray.
Measurements: 54cm from handle to handle x 30cm wide.
Condition:In overall great condition, retaining good soft natural patination. Some light superficial surface scuffs from general use. The brass has light surface corrosion, please review images for a god understanding. With brass, it's a matter of personal preference whether to have natural patina which shows its age and character, or a polished look to highlight the metal's colour. We have left this item in original unpolished, patinated condition.
