A Late 19th Century Octagonal Mahogany Box Of uncommon tall octagonal form, the flat hinged cover and sides veneered in well-figured mahogany, all sides enriched with fine brass stringing. The front fitted with a keyhole (key lacking). The interior later relined in green felt, offering versatile storage.
Measurements: 27.5cm high x 21cm wide x 21cm deep
Condition: Overall in good condition, with fine age-related veneer checking. Has had professional restorations later in life, including to the brass stringing. One notable scratch towards the top right side of the key hole.
