Ancient Elamite Bronze Arrow Head, circa 1200 - 800 BC
Elamites were a Persian civilisation centred on the far west of modern day Iran. Their history parallels the Sumerian, with evidence showing their interaction with Akkadian, Assyrian and Babylonian cultures.

This arrow head belongs to the type V, subcategory types A and C according to the classification of Khorasani and Negahban.
