Ancient Persia Luristan Bronze Arrowhead, circa 1200 - 800 BC

The barbed leaf-shaped arrowhead features a raised mid rib and a pointed tang, which was to be inserted into a wooden shaft to form the complete arrow projectile. It showcases green patination and earthly encrustations on the bronze, testament to the objects’ prolonged burial within the earth.
