Ancient Persia Luristan Bronze Arrowhead, circa 1200 - 800 BC

The rounded triangular shaped arrowhead features a raised mid rib and a part tang, which was to be inserted into a wooden shaft to form the complete arrow projectile. It showcases a rich green verdigris and earthly encrustations on the bronze, testament to the objects’ prolonged burial underground prior to excavation.
