Pair of stylised cast spelter gazelle or impala bookends, mounted on natural polished stone bases with canted corners, c1930's - 40's. They perfectly capture the symbolism of the Art Deco movement... of a time where stylised African animals became all the decor rage.
Measurements: Each measures 16cm high x 16cm long.
Condition: Overall in great condition. There is a small chip to the corner of one stone base (refer to image 4).
