Dorothy Whitehead (Australia, 1900-1995) Sheep Grazing, Oil on canvas on board
Signed lower right. Housed in a frame by John Thallon, bearing the maker’s label verso. The frame appears to be the original to the work and, given Thallon’s operation from his Market Lane premises between 1927 and 1929, provides a probable date for the framing and a useful indication of the artwork’s period.
Measurements: Frame - 35cm x 39cm (Artwork: 23cm x 26.5cm)
Condition: Excellent with no signs of damage or restoration.
