KLYTIE PATE (1912 - 2010) A wheel-thrown earthenware footed bowl of round form, glazed in a vibrant turquoise blue with pitting to the surface. Estimated to date between c1970-1972, with a similar example of deeper form held in the National Gallery of Victoria collection (accession number: 1999.72). This bowl bears Pate's hand incised full signature to the base, along with an early label affirming the signature.
Measurements: 23cm diameter x 9cm high.
Condition: Excellent - No chips, cracks, restoration or post manufacturing flaws. Natural imperfections from the make and firing process are expected and commensurate with its age.
