Biography: Born in 1918 to Norwegian and Spanish parents, Hanson was a self-taught artist who dedicated himself to painting en-plein-air landscapes following the Second World War. Over the course of his distinguished career, he held numerous exhibitions across all Australian state capitals. His works are represented in significant public and private collections, including the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the City of Melbourne.
