A pair of 19th Century brass pillar candle holders by T. Gaunt & Co (Thomas Gaunt, 1829–1890).
Measurements: 31cm high, with a top platform diameter of 7.5cm.
Condition: Both candleholders retain their original, unpolished finish, with an attractive aged patina and areas of verdigris to the brass surfaces. No corrosion noted. One base exhibits a slight indentation, resulting in minor instability when standing, while a small dent is present to the upper rim of the other candleholder. Both would benefit from polishing to restore the lustre of the brass, if desired. Overall, presenting in good condition consistent with age and use.
