A pair of small Japanese Satsuma ware baluster vases, each finely decorated with a continuous riverside landscape scene, featuring architecture and foliage, enriched with delicate gilt highlights. Dating to the Shōwa era, the vases are of pleasing proportion and display careful attention to detail. Each bears a red and gold seal to the base.
Measurements: 12cm high
Condition: No chips, cracks or restoration. Crazing is evident throughout.
