Erik Bertil Vallien (Sweden, 1938-) A LOVERS' SET comprising two large stemmed wine glasses and an ice bucket from Vallien's 'Rainbow' series. Characterised by multicoloured ribbons of glass applied over a light blue opalescent base, with the ice bucket hosting a stainless steel handle and matching tongs. These thin streaks of colour resemble abstract rainbows and contrast vividly against the pale background. Individually hand-signed to the underside by Vallien.
