A set of natural antler-handled stainless steel cutlery, by Ernest C. Cockbill of Sheffield, dating to the first half of the 20th Century. The set comprises eight steak knives and forks, contained in their original fitted case. Each handle was hand carved to fit the steel hardware and due to the nature of deer antler, the size, shape and colours vary.
Measurements: Knives and forks measure approximately 20cm long (Box size: 23cm x 24cm).
Condition: Good overall cosmetic and structural condition. Light surface scratches to steel from general use. The box with some peeling to exterior, stains to interior lining, interior fabric strap broken and light verdigris to hardware.
