Theodore Hamblin was the most prestigious British optical brand of the twentieth century, having received six Royal Warrants, including patronage from HM Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
This Optometrists eye testing kit comes complete in its original custom fitted cedar case with key, and includes an assortment of trial lenses, spectacles and accessories.

Condition: Overall a beautiful set in great condition. One lens has a fine crack (stable), other lenses may have light scuffs or scratches. The cedar wood case has surface water marks, however, can easily be polished back to pristine order. Interior royal red lid lining has imprint marks and is missing the Theodore Hamblin label. Some light tarnishing and patination to brass lens frames. The numerical lens power plaques are brittle, with some chips to the lower side of the "concave" and "convex" strips.
