A beautifully painted en plein air watercolour of large proportions, mounted in a gilt plaster frame behind glass.

Biography: Walter Stuart Lloyd RBA, was a watercolour artist who produced both marine and landscape scenes of pleasant and restful subjects that expressed sound draughtsmanship. Lloyd exhibited 40 paintings at the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of British Artists, 56 works at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours as well as at Grosvenor Galleries.
Condition: Artwork presents minor irregularities to the paper and some light dust marks below glass. Gold frame shows minor surface chips around edges, nothing substantial. This is a large and relatively heavy artwork.
